Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM division is seeking Production Operators in West Chester, Ohio. Ideal candidates will be quick learners with attention to detail and strong analytical/problem solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities include visual inspection for defects, operating precision measuring equipment to ensure tolerances, performing deburr and rework tasks, and hand adjusting parts to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a production/shop position.
• Must be able to use advanced math (add/sub/mul/div; fractions/decimals/percentages).
• Must be able to communicate clearly with all levels of personnel (written and oral).
• Must be able to follow complex instructions and decide on course of action.
• Must be able to schedule and organize time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of parts for nicks, burrs and flaws and repair if possible.
• Operate equipment (jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify dimensions meet tolerances.
• Operate equipment (deburr guns, hand tools, grit blaster) for 1st run and rework parts.
• Hand adjust parts to make corrections.
