Job summary

Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a dependable Production Associate to join our hands-on manufacturing team in Katy, Texas. You will work with smaller metal parts and springs across finishing and secondary operations, using basic tools and measuring devices while following strict work instructions and customer specs.

We value reliability, accuracy, and the willingness to learn multiple processes. This role offers 1st and 2nd shift opportunities, with a focus on safety, attendance, and quality

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately with smaller parts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Able to count accurately and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willing to learn multiple production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production operations including bending, trimming, hand-winding, punch press work, and pre-setting.
• Use hand tools, fixtures, presses, and other production equipment safely.
• Inspect parts for proper bends, hooks, welds, dimensions, and overall quality.
• Use basic measuring and inspection tools.
• Follow job travelers, work instructions, and customer specifications.
• Count parts accurately and complete required production reporting.
• Identify quality issues and notify the supervisor or Quality team when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
