Job summary

Generac is seeking a hands-on Repair Technician to read blueprints, interpret basic drawings and schematics, and perform mechanical repairs in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure quality standards and properly escalate issues when needed.

You will use hand and pneumatic tools, complete cleaning and cosmetic touch-ups, package repaired units and accessories, and document work accurately while adhering to OSHA and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three months experience repairing any type of mechanical product in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Perform cleaning and cosmetic paint touch-up on repaired units.
• Package repaired units and accessories.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Identify parts and materials needed for repairs.
• Perform repairs following quality standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Report work performed accurately.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety regulations.
