Job summary

TRIDENT SOLUTIONS in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Printer Operator to set up, operate, and maintain digital and large-format printing equipment. You will ensure production runs smoothly and meet customer specifications, while maintaining high quality and following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial printing equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage work orders and production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience operating commercial printing equipment.
• Experience with digital, wide-format, or offset printing preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with print management software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital and/or large-format printing equipment.
• Review work orders and verify print specifications before production.
• Monitor print quality and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Load paper, vinyl, and other printing materials into equipment.
• Inspect finished products for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major repairs to maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of inks, paper, and printing supplies.
• Complete production records and accurately track job status.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
