Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved training program for setting up and operating all equipment in the section.
• Knowledge of blanking / fabrication and power presses, and tooling to maintain tolerances.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining other types of complex mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a wide range of primary and secondary presses for blanking, piercing, bending, re-hole, or related operations.
• Maintain equipment to high efficiency and quality standards and adhere to tolerances.
• Measure quality parameters of chain components and take corrective action as needed.
• Retrieve raw material and transfer finished components to subsequent processes to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist, train and develop operators.
