This role focuses on setting up and monitoring laminate production, measuring thickness with micrometers, and recording in-process inspections to ensure traceability.

You will coordinate with quality, shipping, and value added teams, manage material availability, and help train new employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years press experience.
• Experience with inventory systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP and Oracle.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers.
• Good communications skills.
• Ability to use lifting and moving devices.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Technical School (2 year program).
• Minimum of 3 years press experience.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor all manufacturing parameters for laminates.
• Measure thickness with micrometers to maintain product performance.
• Record in-process inspection/testing for traceability.
• Ensure sufficient raw material base for daily production.
• Communicate with quality, shipping, and value added teams regarding issues.
• Perform cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Handle nonconforming material processes including DMRs and hold tags.
• Participate in training of new employees.
