Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator in its Production & Skilled Trades group.

You will operate and set up large coil-fed presses and smaller hand-fed presses, and work with CNC machines and other assembly equipment to manufacture and assemble components. The role requires hand dexterity, safety awareness and the ability to perform data entry and quality checks, while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 year vocational training or associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up large coil-fed presses and smaller hand-fed presses.
• Load and unload brazing furnaces, operate tapping equipment, drill presses, CNC machines, crimping machines.
• Perform incoming, in-process or final inspections per work instructions.
• Fill out daily reports (labor, waste, defects, downtime) and record SPC data.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety regulations.
