Job summary

Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a Hamburg area fabrication company to fill an immediate need for a full-time Press Brake Operator. This is a first shift position with Monday-Thursday work, 5:00am–3:30pm or 6:00am–4:30pm and optional overtime.

Pay rate is $24-$27 per hour. Responsibilities include studying blueprints, setting the CNC press brake to project specifications, ensuring proper positioning and alignment, monitoring the pressing process, inspecting finished parts,

Qualifications

Experience reading blueprints and specification sheets.
Ability to set and operate a CNC controlled press brake.
Proficient measuring and quality inspection of sheet metal.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Study blueprints and specification sheets to understand requirements.
Set a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications.
Ensure proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake.
Monitor the pressing process.
Measure and inspect the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications.
Troubleshoot and address problems during pressing process.
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
Comply with all health and safety standards in the facility.
