Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a qualified Press Brake Operator for our Fremont, CA facility. You will set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to engineering drawings and tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years' experience in metal fabrication, proficiency with Amada, Bystronic, and Trumpf brakes, and strong measurement skills using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. The role requires safety focus and ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a brake press or bending operator in metal fabrication.
• Experience with Amada, Bystronic, and Trumpf brake machines.
• Strong reading of blueprints and tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and machine parameters per drawings.
• Inspect parts against specifications and prior operations.
• Operate brake machines to bend and shape metal.
• Coordinate workload between shifts and ensure on-time production.
• Load/unload material safely and prepare equipment for runs.
