Job summary

Mission Critical Group in the United States is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to read blueprints, select tooling, set up the press brake, and run production parts to tight tolerances using Accurpress equipment.

You will perform routine maintenance, inspect finished components with precision instruments, and adhere to safety standards while collaborating with a manufacturing team on a 4x10 or similar schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating Accurpress and/or equivalent manual press brake machinery.
• Experience with press brake control systems (e.g., Accurpress) highly desirable.
• Forklift certification is desirable.
• Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or a related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine correct specifications and tolerances.
• Select, install, and adjust appropriate punches, dies, and other tooling based on material type, thickness, and bend requirements.
• Set up and operate the press brake machinery, ensuring accurate machine settings and adjustments.
• Perform test bends and make necessary adjustments to achieve specified dimensions and angles.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press brake, including lubrication, minor repairs and cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including PPE, and keep a clean, organized workspace.
