Job summary

Paycom in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Precision Brake Operator Level 1 to form metal stock on an Industrial Press Brake. You will read blueprints, set machines and dies, and ensure productivity while meeting customer specs in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment.

You will verify material delivery, monitor machine operation, manage nesting programs, and maintain a clean, safe shop. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years with Press Brake operation.
• General knowledge of plate bending operation.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Ability to read and understand measuring devices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferably

Responsibilities

• Locate and ensure correct material is delivered to the work center.
• Ensure the machine is working properly.
• Ensure an appropriate nesting program is delivered to the work center.
• Ensure nesting program matches print with work order.
• Ensure that the correct gas, speed, and consumables are applied correctly.
• Accurately project completion of work orders at work center.
• Complete assignments on-time and correctly.
• Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion.
• Continually maintain a clean working environment.
• Notify Supervisor immediately of any problems or issues with machine.
• May perform other duties as assigned
