Job summary

Premier Marine is seeking a powder coating painter to join the paint department. You will apply powder paint to aluminum and steel substrates using manual guns on a conveyor, perform surface prep, masking, cleaning, and touch-ups, and ensure quality during the coating process.

Responsibilities

Execute production work orders, gather required tools and materials, follow instructions and paint specifications for job.
Prepare parts for coating by sanding, wiping, and hanging on conveyor.
Inspect and maintain a high level of quality for all coated parts.
Use manual hand-held guns to apply powder paint as parts move on conveyor.
Operate coating equipment including guns, pumps, agitators and booth filtration systems.
Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
