Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Polishing Technician at our Indianapolis facility. You will polish sub components and support pump, valve, and PHE products to meet 3A surface finish standards in an on-site day shift (6am–2:30pm) with overtime as needed.

You’ll read drawings, operate basic tools, and participate in continuous improvement with the Alfa Laval Production System. We value hands-on experience in production or warehouse settings, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and strong attention to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with production/warehouse experience.
• Experience using power tools.
• Crane and forklift certifications preferred.
• Polishing experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, manufacturing orders, etc.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Polishes sub components and/or executes material processing within a small team.
• Perform process setups and value-add activities following defined parameters.
• Follow SOPs and participate in continuous improvement meetings.
• Observe all company policies and conduct quality checks on completion.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items as needed.
• Other tasks may be assigned.
