Job summary

MOS Plastics Inc., a Currier company, seeks a Machine Operator to support our production team in San Jose, CA. You will operate machinery, perform finishing, inspect parts, and package products for the healthcare and life sciences industries.

You will read work instructions, maintain safety, and report production counts. The role requires standing for long shifts, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and strong attention to quality in a loud manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required with at least 6 months of work experience.
• Ability to read basic instructions and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and maintain safety in a loud production environment.
• Willingness to work with moving mechanical parts and PPE as required.
• Attention to detail for inspection and packaging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reads operator work instructions and sample boards and follows them.
• Operates equipment safely and ensures proper production cycles.
• Uses hand cutting tools for trimming and degating parts.
• Maintains production counts and reports discrepancies.
• Inspects parts for defects and assembles components to molded parts.
• Packages, labels, and ensures a clean, safe work area.
• Communicates quality concerns and equipment issues to the lead.
• Notifies the relieving operator of changes and quality problems.
