Express Employment Professionals, Appleton WI is seeking a fabrication associate for a plastic fabrication role. You will read and interpret work orders, measure and shape plastic materials, and operate CNC and other fabrication tools.

The job includes assembly, finishing, inspection, and packaging of components for shipment. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, good tool skills, and the ability to read basic prints.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with precise measurements.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and shop machinery.
• Ability to read basic prints, diagrams, or work instructions.
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new fabrication techniques.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused work habits.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
• Fabrication, plastics, machining, or woodworking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and job instructions.
• Measure, mark, cut, and shape plastic materials to precise specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, routers, drills, and CNC machinery.
• Assemble components using adhesives, plastic welding, fasteners, or mechanical joining methods.
• Perform finishing operations such as trimming, deburring, sanding, and polishing.
• Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues with parts, materials, or equipment during fabrication.
• Package completed components for shipment or transfer to the next production stage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
