Job summary

You will follow start-up documentation, read production sheets, perform quality checks with calipers, and adjust the machine as needed. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience (extrusion a plus); strong math skills, the ability to read blueprints, and alignment with safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience (extrusion a plus).
• Ability to read production specs and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer).
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic extruder to meet customer specifications and produce finished goods.
• Perform quality checks with calipers and adjust machine to maintain specs.
• Read production sheets and coordinate with team leads.
• Maintain safe, clean, orderly work area; ensure supplies are in place.
• Package finished goods and assist with packaging/shipping prep.
• Record daily production data and monitor material usage.
