Job summary

The successful candidate will set up and monitor plasma machinery, read blueprints and cut lists, input cutting parameters, perform routine maintenance, and uphold safety protocols in a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to read technical measurements accurately.
• Basic computer skills and ability to input programs or parameters.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and cut lists.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor plasma cutting machinery per job specs
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut lists
• Accurately measure materials and finished parts to 1/16 inch
• Verify part dimensions against specifications before and after cutting
• Input cutting programs and parameters using a computer or control panel
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting
• Inspect finished parts for defects and burrs; adjust as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE protocols
• Record production logs and paperwork accurately
