Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Warehouse Picker/Packer to support a fast-paced distribution center in Dayville, CT. You will pick items according to order details, pack them securely, label and stage shipments, and assist with loading and unloading duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse or distribution experience asset but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately based on customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Label, sort, and stage orders for shipping.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
• Inspect products for quality and report damaged or missing items.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock replenishment.
• Follow PepsiCo's safety, food safety, and quality procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Meet daily productivity and performance goals.
