Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on location) to work in a pharmacy setting.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data accurately.
• Prepare medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries.
• Direct clinical questions to the pharmacist when needed.
