Job summary

Paylocity seeks a Pharmacy Production Technician to perform core medication production activities across filling, pre-pack, tote, and related workflows to ensure accurate preparation, labeling, and staging for pharmacist verification and delivery.

You will print labels, fill and hand-pack medications, operate pre-pack automation, verify packaging accuracy, and maintain organized workstations in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician registration or license as required by location.
• Ability to prepare, label, document, and track medications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Print medication labels and match to prescription orders.
• Fill and hand-pack medications according to procedures.
• Submit prepared medications for pharmacist verification and quality assurance.
• Operate approved pre-pack automation and monitor packaging accuracy.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues within established authority and escalate as needed.
• Verify, scan, tote, and stage medications in the correct facility receptacles and delivery sequence.
• Maintain organized workstations, replenish supplies, and support production targets.
