Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. (Required)
• Pharmacy technician registration or license as required by location.
• Ability to accurately handle, prepare, label, document, and track medications.
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacy systems and basic medication-related math.
• Attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Print medication labels and match them to prescription orders.
• Fill and hand-pack medications according to procedures and safety standards.
• Submit prepared medications for pharmacist verification and quality assurance.
• Operate approved pre-pack automation and monitor packaging accuracy.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues within established authority and elevate as needed.
• Verify, scan, tote, and stage medications in the correct facility receptacles and delivery sequence.
• Maintain organized workstations, replenish supplies, and support production targets.
