Job summary

Altronic is seeking a PCB Conformal Coating Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain automated coating equipment protecting PCB assemblies from moisture and contaminants. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key tasks include loading/unloading boards, ensuring proper fixturing, monitoring coating thickness and cure, performing routine maintenance, and documenting non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and quality.
• Experience reading production orders, BOMs, and process docs.
• Basic Windows data-entry and machine operation.
• Familiar with ESD-safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run conformal coating machines per orders and specs.
• Load/unload PCB assemblies, ensure proper fixturing and masking.
• Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and cure per IPC standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and clean nozzles.
• Manage conformal coating materials per SDS and safety policies.
• Identify non-conformances and perform touch-up/rework as directed.
• Maintain on-time completion by tracking order completion dates.
• Support continuous improvement and report issues promptly.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
