Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler for its Spring, TX site to join our manufacturing team. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and hands-on work with SMT soldering and component fabrication. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position.

You will assemble electronic systems per specs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality while adhering to safety standards. Expect weekly pay and comprehensive benefits if eligible.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience soldering, especially SMT, on PCBs.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and integration into assembly.
• Proficient with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to fabricate components for assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and systems according to detailed schematics and specifications.
• Use calipers and ohmmeters to ensure accurate assembly.
• Perform soldering tasks on PCBs and other components.
• Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring quality standards.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
