Job summary

Larson Hyundai in Tacoma seeks a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage the daily parts flow, receive and verify shipments, stock inventory, and prepare outgoing shipments.

• Comfortable using computers and learning inventory/parts systems
• Strong communication with coworkers and vendors
• Able to safely perform physical duties of shipping, receiving, stocking, and moving parts

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and shipments
• Compare shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged items, or incorrect shipments
• Stock and organize parts in designated locations
• Prepare outgoing shipments, returns, and transfers
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Assist with inventory organization and cycle counts
• Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean and safe
• Work with Parts Department team to ensure quick, accurate processing
• Follow dealership procedures for receiving, returns, credits, and inventory control
• Assist with other Parts Department duties as needed
