Taurus Engineering, Inc. in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a meticulous Parts Inspector to review incoming CNC/machined components for conformance to engineering drawings and specs.

You will measure with calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and CMMs, document discrepancies, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve non-conformities; strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential. You will also maintain inspection records, support calibration of tools, and look for efficiency

Formación

• Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement.
• Experience identifying non-conformities in manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge relevant to inspection and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect incoming components and materials for conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions match drawings.
• Record measurements and document discrepancies.
• Notify Engineering with discrepancy reports and non-conformities.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Maintain thorough inspection records and logs.
• Identify efficiency improvements and tooling upgrades for the Inspections Department.
