Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is helping a client in Cary, IL find a detail-oriented Sorter for the 1st shift. You will inspect precision-machined parts with a microscope, identify non-conforming items, label and route production lots, and support other departments as needed.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, pays $16.00 per hour and offers a benefits package including medical plan, life insurance, and short-term disability.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspection of precision parts using a microscope and gauges.
• Identify and confirm non-conforming parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
• Accurately contain, label, and route production lots.
• Provide supervisors samples for approval before completing job assignments.
• Support inspection and secondary departments as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor, foreman, and other departments regarding quality and job status.
