Job summary

Fort Wayne Metals is seeking a Precision Parts Assembler 3 for a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work. You will assemble components per instructions using fixtures and presses, perform quality inspections, and adjust equipment to meet production and quality targets.

Starting pay ranges from $22.79 to $26.81 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Day-one benefits eligibility for PTO and holiday pay, along with a safety-focused team and dedicated trainers, support

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or assembly environment preferred.
• Possess intermediate math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Mechanical aptitude, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good hand dexterity.
• Average weights in production range from 10-25 lbs; heavier lifts up to 75-80 lbs occasionally.
• Standing and walking most of shift; safety awareness a must.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per work instructions using fixtures, presses, and similar equipment.
• Perform quality inspections and document results clearly.
• Set up and adjust equipment to meet production and quality requirements.
• Follow safety, traceability, and housekeeping protocols.
