Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans seeks an experienced painter to perform painting, wallpaper installation and related duties within our facilities. You will follow blueprints and design schematics while using appropriate tools to ensure quality finishes across patient areas and offices.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of commercial painting experience. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of paint mixing and application to ensure proper bonding.
• Ability to install wallpaper, vinyl or other wall coverings per manufacturer specs.
• Positive interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and patients.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge to safely operate tools in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer guidance.
