Job summary

Sysco is seeking a production/packing associate to remove products from conveyors, inspect quality, and hand-pack items into boxes and cryovac packaging. This role reports to the Processing Manager/Supervisor and is Non-Exempt.

You will work on packing runs, ensure materials are available, and comply with GMP and safety standards. Responsibilities include visual inspection, labeling, machine monitoring, and reporting discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals.

• Able to perform basic calculations for packing quantities and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Receives packing orders and ensures materials are available at the packing station.
• Visually inspects quality, weights, and specifications; set aside defects.
• Monitors machines for operation and safety; reports discrepancies to leads or supervisor.
• Packs products into cartons per customer order specifications and applies labels.
• Complies with GMPs and safety regulations; performs other duties as assigned.
