Job summary

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma with 3–5 years in packing/shipping, basic woodworking skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong teamwork and independent problem solving are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3-5 years in a packing and shipping role.
• Basic woodworking skills with the ability to measure length using carpenters’ rule.
• Must be able to push, lift, pull up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity for reading orders, machine dial gauges and precision measuring.
• A proactive problem solver that can work independently.
• And most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting “stuff” done.

Responsibilities

• Packaging shipments using care to ensure appropriate containers, protective inserts/padding, etc.
• Assembling wooden containers using circular, chop and table saws as required.
• Complete required paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Ensure safety measures and protocols are followed and contributing to a Continuous Improvement mindset.
• And most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting “stuff” done
