Job summary

Idaho Pacific Holdings seeks a Production Bagger for a very physical, hands-on role. You will bag finished product, verify weights, ensure correct bags and labels, and place bags on pallets. Expect frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, with attention to scale readings and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include sealing, stacking, labeling accuracy, sample submission to Lab, and adhering to metal detector procedures. Shift work is required and overtime may be necessary in a 24/7 plant.

Qualifications

  • Must closely follow operational instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must read and write legibly in English.
  • Ability to read scales and equipment used for weighing or measuring.
  • Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Set empty product bags for filling and place on scale after filling.
  • Operate heated glue sealer and ensure correct bag alignment and legible markings.
  • Lift bagged product onto pallets according to specifications.
  • Verify bags, labels, printouts, and seals are correct and neat.
  • Monitor metal detector procedures and respond to alarms.
  • Take product samples to the lab as needed.
  • Inspect product visually for defects or foreign material.
  • Report problems to Shift Manager promptly.
  • Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and comply with safety policies.
