Job summary

Idaho Pacific is seeking a Production Bagger for a very physical, hands-on role. You will bag finished product, monitor scale readings for weight accuracy, verify bags and labels, and ensure legible date codes and secure seals.

Expect repetitive lifting up to 70 pounds and standing for long shifts in a busy plant. Responsibilities include bag setup, sealing, palletizing, quality checks, and following metal detector policies.

Qualifications

  • Must follow detailed operational instructions.
  • Ability to read scales and labels.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • English reading and writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set empty product bag for filling and lift onto the scale.
  • Slide bagged product through heated glue sealer and ensure correct seal.
  • Stack sealed bags on pallets according to specs.
  • Ensure bags, labels and printouts are correct and legible.
  • Check magnets as scheduled and coordinate with Line Lead.
  • Take product samples to the Lab as needed.
  • Visually inspect product pre-seal and in totes for defects.
  • Understand metal detector procedures and follow policy.
  • Report problems to the Shift Manager immediately.
  • Clean spills and keep work areas hazard-free.
  • Work safely around moving parts and equipment.
  • Maintain clean areas for next shift and comply with safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
