Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the 1st Shift in Hanover, PA. You will safely operate packaging equipment, manage labels, print checks, and ensure product quality and food safety.

This role requires the ability to read schedules, perform setups and changeovers, and maintain equipment with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement. The position offers long-term employment with overtime as needed, and total rewards including health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Ability to perform machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic maintenance activities.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures, production schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shift documentation and batch verifications.
• Read production schedules and interpret them using MicroStrategy.
• Print labels and manage printers; calibrate as needed.
• Perform nitrogen testing and other quality checks.
• Monitor packaging machinery for codes, dates, and pricing.
• Maintain supplies of roll stock and packaging materials.
• Set up and program bag-making equipment.
• Develop and modify code dates; adjust machine settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Calibrate scales and packaging components.
• Operate packaging equipment including baggers, conveyors, sealers, and robotics.
• Plan and execute machine changeovers between product runs.
• Ensure weight and film cut-off quality; monitor production standards.
• Identify and resolve packaging quality issues.
