Job summary

Entegris is hiring for a Packaging Operator on the 1st shift (6 am to 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri) in Massachusetts. You will operate manufacturing equipment, inspect products, document data, and support packaging according to specifications.

The role emphasizes quality control, safety, and teamwork across departments, with on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft., and stand during entire shift.
• All employees go through 30-day on-the-job training in a fast-paced environment.
• All employees are expected to be flexible, working in varying departments as needed.
• Ability to work in different environments/Multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary; ensures product meets specifications.
• Performs various operations on the product per work orders and instructions.
• Finalizes required paperwork (Production Reports, Labels, SAP Transactions, etc.).
• Maintains charts of rejected materials and conducts process charts as required.
• Supports continuous improvement activities such as 6S and Kaizen events.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and follows safety procedures.
