Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Order Picker / Warehouse Associate to accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment in Fitchburg, MA. This hands-on role requires dependability, attention to detail, and comfort with material-handling equipment.

You will rotate inventory using FIFO, cross-check orders, and enter shipping data into computer systems while maintaining a safe, organized workspace and collaborating with Shipping, Receiving, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, order picking, or shipping/receiving.
• Forklift experience preferred; in-house certification obtainable.
• Experience with pallet jacks and material-handling equipment.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Dependable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using pick tickets and instructions.
• Palletize, wrap, weigh, and stage orders for shipment.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Cross‑check orders for accuracy.
• Put away incoming stock and organize warehouse inventory.
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Enter shipping and inventory information into computer systems.
• Perform routine equipment and warehouse safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with Shipping, Receiving, and Production teams.
