Job summary

Graftek Imaging is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble high-end optical and electromechanical components in a fast-paced production environment. You will read mechanical drawings and work orders to build complex assemblies, ensure zero-defect quality, and meet output targets.

You will use hand and power tools, drill presses, saws, and soldering equipment, log labor hours, and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly or fabrication in a production setting.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or electrical schematics and develop skill quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and a personal standard of accuracy.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools common in light manufacturing.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-end optical and electromechanical components and sub-assemblies to exacting tolerances while maintaining zero-defect quality.
• Maintain production pace and meet unit output targets with top quality.
• Read drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and parts lists directly from engineering materials.
• Use hand and power tools, including drill presses, saws, riveters, and related equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble cable harnesses and electrical connectors per specifications.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to verify conformance.
• Log progress, labor hours, and expenses in the tracking system.
• Identify process errors and contribute to corrective actions.
