Job summary

Cirtec Medical is seeking a manufacturing operator to support production of medical devices in a CGMP environment. The role involves operating workstations, assisting with assembly, inspections, and documentation to ensure product quality and throughput.

The candidate should have 1+ years in medical device manufacturing, experience with catheters, and be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The job requires light to moderate lifting and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in the medical device industry and manufacturing.
• Experience working with catheters.
• Be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Comply with CGMP requirements to ensure products are produced and controlled according to the Quality System.
• Follow established documentation for product manufacturing.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Take direction within the manufacturing cell from higher level operators.
• Load components into product-specific tools.
• Perform primary function of processing and product fabrication.
• Perform in-process visual inspections and dimensional checks.
• Perform pre/post-weld operations and assembly tasks.
• Set up qualified operations and troubleshoot basic workstation issues.
• Perform various dimensional inspections using gauges and micrometers.
• Possibly perform weld operations.
• Handle small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
• Make basic measurements relative to tolerances.
• Interpret drawings and dimensions.
• Provide direction within the cell to associates.
• Assist Quality Control with inspection duties.
• Identify and report quality issues to Quality/Supervisor.
• Accurately document work on inspection reports and traveler documents.
• Assist in packaging finished goods.
