Job summary

Tempus invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance precision oncology through analysis of large clinicogenomic datasets. The fellow will work within a collaborative computational biology group, bridging molecular and clinical cancer data to push forward genomic-guided medicine.

The role offers access to extensive samples and data, with mentorship from clinicians and scientists, and opportunities to develop independent projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or related field required.
• PhD and/or MD with extensive experience in clinical and translational cancer research preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute studies bridging molecular and clinical cancer data.

Responsibilities

• Study and advance precision oncology using one of the world’s largest clinicogenomic databases.
• Apply computational methods to real-world patient data to improve understanding of target cancers and precision medicine.
• Develop independent research projects tackling challenging problems in genomic-guided medicine.
