Job summary

Empower Pharmacy in Houston is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Non-Sterile Compounding. You will deliver high-quality non-sterile medications in a fast-growing 503A/503B environment, handling end-to-end compounding while adhering to USP, FDA, OSHA, and state requirements.

Join our mission-driven team, you'll work with Quality, Regulatory, and Production groups, maintain batch records in LifeFile, and contribute to scalable production and rigorous documentation in a community-focused healthcare

Qualifications

• 1+ year of non-sterile compounding experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Technician Trainee license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Nonsterile Compounding Certificate preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma White Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, including creams, gels, capsules, and solutions, by accurately weighing, mixing, and labeling ingredients.
• Execute compounding procedures in strict adherence to SOPs, ensuring traceability, documentation accuracy, and compliance with USP 795/800, FDA, OSHA, and state board requirements.
• Perform in-process and final verification checks to support product uniformity, potency, labeling accuracy, and quality standards.
