Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Motor Grader Operator for our local operations. The role focuses on moving earth or stone to achieve a very precise grade and requires performing tasks such as shaping, finishing, and computing slopes.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, maintaining safety standards, and completing paperwork. Applicants should have at least 2 years of road-building experience and be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in road building, site grading and finishing, sloping and banking.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently.
• Must meet MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader to move earth or stone to a precise grade.
• Shape and finish sub grades, base materials, shoulders, slopes, and ditches as required.
• Inspect equipment daily and check fluids before starting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
