Job summary

Pacific Rubber is seeking a skilled Molding Technician in San Carlos, CA to set up, operate, and maintain high‑precision molding equipment for sealing components. You will manage material prep, mold setup, part handling, inspection, and packaging in a controlled manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires hands‑on craftsmanship and teamwork to meet production goals. Minimum 2 years in molding/manufacturing, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic computer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a molding or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and proper use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate molding machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor production runs and adjust parameters to optimize cycle times and quality.
• Prepare and handle raw materials to prevent contamination; inspect molds and tooling for wear or damage.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and diagnose process issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and record production data accurately.
