Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work documents.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Knowledge of basic math and their applications.
• Complete paperwork and documents at the work station.
• Ability to coordinate limbs while sitting or standing.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines or assembly equipment to make parts or products.
• Read work orders, work instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
• Maintain production documentation.
• Position and secure inserts, hand loads and work pieces on machines.
• Remove finished products from machines using hand tools.
• Measure and visually inspect products for defects.
• Maintain quality standards.
• File, deburr, sand, grind, or polish objects.
• Final packaging of products for shipment.
• Responsible for clean up procedures.
• Perform re-work duties as assigned.
• Relieve other operators for breaks as needed.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
