Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Inspector to verify dimensional and visual quality of molded parts in a manufacturing setting. You will measure both injection-molded and custom-molded components, ensuring conformance to drawings and safety rules.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing or inspection, proficiency with measuring devices, and the ability to read drawings in both English and metric systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or inspector experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with measuring devices: micrometers, calipers, digital thermometers and thickness gauges.
• Able to read drawings.
• Must understand English and metric measuring systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect injection-molded, custom-molded, and compression-molded parts for dimensional and visual quality requirements.
• Complete the inspection after the molding operation.
• Inspect and measure injection-molded parts.
• Inspect and measure custom-molded parts.
• Issue tooling repair orders.
• Inspect and measure O-rings.
• Follow safety rules.
