Qualifications

• Experience with manual toolroom machinery (mills, lathes, surface grinders).
• Ability to read 2D drawings, blueprints, and tool schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and precision measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Mold repair and preventative maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Modify components to reflect engineering changes.
• Spot in and fit new molds and inserts with high precision.
• Operate mills, lathes, and grinders (no CNC).
• Perform TIG and laser welding to repair tool details.
• Hand finish, deburr, and bench assemble mold components.
• Conduct routine mold teardowns, cleanings, and lubrication per schedule.
