Job summary

Hutchinson Aerospace and Industry in Hopkinton, MA is seeking Machine Operators & Assemblers to join our growing manufacturing team. You will perform molding, assembly, identification, cleaning and priming of molded parts, following work instructions to meet production and quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

You will read routings and operator sheets, operate molding equipment, use small hand tools to trim parts, and document production data.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow routings, operator instructions and datasheets.
• Perform repetitive motions on small/medium parts with good manual dexterity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
• Record production information accurately and communicate with team members.
• Label, pack and identify parts per work instructions and color codes.
• Operate molding equipment and trim molded parts with hand tools as required.
• Follow prescribed procedures to ensure quality and document corrections.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and cross-train as needed.
• Read and comprehend routings, specs, and labor cards.
• Record production information and communicate with leads and supervisors.
• Identify proper materials and methods for trimming, cleaning, and assembling parts.
• Operate molding equipment and trim molding parts.
• Clean, mark, paint or identify parts per instructions.
• Check work using quality procedures and report issues to leadership.
