Job summary

Accumold's Tool Room team specializes in building and maintaining precision injection molds used in medical, electronics, optical, and other advanced technologies. You will apply machining expertise with advanced manufacturing technologies to tackle unique engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year tool & die degree or four years tooling/moldmaking experience preferred.
• Experience with metal saws, mills, grinders, lathes, EDM sinkers, EDM Hole Burner and CNC Mill.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production tools and molds; support new tooling projects.
• Build/repair components for tooling using engineering designs; read plans from drawings or CAD files.
• Read and interpret plans from paper drawings or computer files.
• Measure, diagnose, and troubleshoot molds for improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production Planning to finish mold maintenance on time.
