Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, or modify parts, models, molds, and fixtures using manual and power tools.
• Expertise in selecting and working with plastics, metals, and composites.
• Align, fit, and join parts using bolts, screws, welding, or gluing.
• Cut, shape, and form parts using lathes, power saws, snips, power brakes and shears, files, and mallets.
• Drill, countersink, and ream holes using power tools.
• Grind, file, and sand parts to finished dimensions.
• Inspect and test products for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Lay out and mark reference points and dimensions on materials.
• Other duties as assigned
