Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is hiring for a production-focused role in the United States. You'll inspect parts, operate material handling equipment, and load trucks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The position requires attention to detail, basic math/computer skills, and the ability to work in a team. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; full-time employment with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

  • One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Two to three years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors and species.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
  • Math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts for defects (size, color, wood, scrap) and process transactions.
  • Must be detail oriented to avoid shipping scrap.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
  • Operate stretch wrapper.
  • Pack or palletize components to protect from damage.
  • Load trucks to protect product during transit.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Meet quality standards and production goals.
  • Perform other tasks for department success.
