Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years combined experience or an apprenticeship as Millwright, or equivalent.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Experience as a millwright in manufacturing.
• Ability to read layouts/blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to dismantle machines with hand tools.
• Welding experience (arc, acetylene, hydrogen).
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, trucks.
• Use tools like drill presses, power saws, chain falls, jacks, slings, torches.
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts and equipment.
• Perform incidental tasks as needed.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery and components.
• Transport and locate machines to the desired location using forklifts and cranes.
• Assemble machines from their component parts.
• Understand how a machine functions to assemble/disassemble it properly.
• Use precision measuring devices to meet tight tolerances.
• Operate cranes on large projects and perform related duties as required.
