Job summary

Neenah Foundry Company is seeking a machine operator to finish castings to customer specifications. The role includes training on drill presses, boring mills, and CNC equipment, with a focus on safe, accurate measurement and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include inspecting castings and tools, maintaining a clean work area, and recording time and production activity. The position offers health benefits, 401(k), and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous machining experience preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to take and record accurate measurements
• Experience with basic hand tools, hoists, calipers, tape measure and depth gauge preferred
• Physically able to stand for long periods and work in hot, loud environments
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in small spaces

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work station, tools, and PPE
• Maintain equipment and work area
• Complete full visual inspections of all castings
• Inspect tools and machinery for defects
• Operate air hoists to move parts over 50 lbs
• Complete part to customer specifications
• Prep finished castings for packaging
• Attend weekly safety meetings
• Record work activity in the time management system
• Shifts: 8–12 hour shifts, overtime as production requires
